Antropomorfo Chairs by Gam Plus Fratesi is a series of chairs developed which is inspired and a combination from childrens drawings using materials, colors and details typical from the Scandinavian tradition. The Human Body Chair is interesting to study and understand the nature of children’s drawing which is spontaneous expression in a three-dimensional way where by then it is being translated and formed as furniture. So the furniture used oak, beech and walnut with various joints inspired from classic wood furniture to realized chairs inspired from the children’s spontaneous expression.
Rope and leather are applied towards wooden structures using traditional working methods. Wool felt like material used in the big upholstered backs of the chairs. This Gam Plus Fratesi intriguing chairs catch a great attention, as they renders the small details even smaller giving them greater importance and a sense of irony.
